What we collect

  • Search & listen history — queries and recognition results you trigger, tied to your account when signed in or to an anonymous session cookie otherwise.
  • Watchlist — nodes you save from character, episode, artist, or song pages.
  • Preferences — theme and default series slug in Settings.
  • Microphone audio — when you tap Listen, audio is sent to our API and ACRCloud for recognition. We do not store raw audio files. Match attempts (including no-match) are logged as metadata in Supabase.
  • Search queries — every graph search is recorded (signed-in or anonymous session) in Supabase for product improvement.
  • Product analytics — page views and feature usage (e.g. graph exploration, mic events). When you share a link, we record anonymous share and open events (including referrer hostname only — not your identity). Events are stored in Supabase like the waitlist. Anonymous page paths may also be sent to Rumble-operated Product 360 for portfolio insights. Provider depends on deployment: Plausible, PostHog, or first-party storage. See Settings for account controls.
  • Errors — optional crash reports via Sentry when enabled in production (includes request id, no raw audio).

What we do not sell

We do not sell your personal data. Graph content (characters, episodes, songs, quotes) comes from licensed connectors and curated fixtures — not from your microphone except to match against recognition catalogs.

Your choices

  • Export — signed-in users can download all stored data from Settings.
  • Delete — delete your account and synced history from Settings; we remove Supabase Auth and API-stored rows.
  • Anonymous use — iconic-line demos and graph browsing work without sign-in; clear cookies to reset anonymous sessions.
  • Microphone — deny or revoke in OS / browser settings at any time.

Processors

Depending on configuration, data may be processed by:

  • Supabase (auth & Postgres user data)
  • Vercel (web hosting)
  • Render (API hosting)
  • ACRCloud (audio fingerprint matching, when live mic enabled)
  • Plausible or PostHog (analytics, when configured)
  • Sentry (error monitoring, when configured)
