When Lucy waits up for her daughter Chris to return from a date, the fourteen-year old girl is mightly embarrassed. Lucy promises never to do it again, but can't help herself.

Eager to ask Jerry's handsome math teacher to take her to a dance, Lucy steals the teacher's driver's license to find out whether he's married.

Lucy referees for a football game at Jerry's school.

When the bank accidentally gives Lucy a check for $2,000 instead of $20, Lucy decides to hide the money in a candy box for a few days to give the persnickety banker a good scare.

Left with no one to tend the lawn, Lucy buys a sheep named Clementine to take care of the grass. Unfortunately, weather and circumstances make Clementine an unwelcome house guest, and Lucy sneaks her back to the farm. Only then is she offered $200 for Clementine to appear in a blanket ad.

After Lucy and Vivian successfully spend 24 hours in a simulated space ship, Vivian decides to deflate Lucy's ego by convincing the red-head that she has been selected as the first woman astronaut and must leave immediately for Cape Canaveral.

To make money to buy a bike for Jerry, Lucy takes a job as a kangaroo.

Lucy causes a doctor's hand to be injured so that he can't play the violin.

After tripping over one of Jerry's toys, Viv decides to sue Lucy.

Lucy plans to surprise Vivian with a new mattress and a redone room while she's on vacation, but the electric mattress Lucy bought her malfunctions (it moves around the room when the motor is on) and Lucy is forced to return it. However, Vivian returns home early and has no place to sleep, so she and Lucy have to share the boys' bunkbeds for a night.

When one of the members of Vivian's Barbershop Quartet drops out, Lucy naturally wants to take her place. Vivian agrees, and now it's up to Lucy to learn how to sing before a big singing contest in Albany!

Lucy is prepared to chaperone her daughter Chris and some of her school friends for a week at Sandy Cove. When Chris' school principle decides that one woman can't possibly chaperone all those girls Lucy recruits Viv to come along. While at the beach Lucy decides that the kids think that she and Viv are old foogys so they try to dress and act young, only to find out in the end that the kids would rather have their chaperones behave as adults.

The Danfield Womens Volunteer Fire Fighters do the play Cleopatra for their annual thearter group play. Lucy gets cast as Cleopatra and no man in town wants to be in the play, except for the director who plays Caesar, Viv ends up playing Anthony and the show is interupted by a fire in another part of town.

One of the kids needs money for a birthday party they're going to, but Lucy and Viv don't have it. To solve they're money problem they start up a birthday party, throwing business. At their fist party, everything bad that could happen, happens.

Lucy and Viv have an after season softball match for the womens volunteer fire department. Lucy is benched until another player gets dilusional and Lucy catches the winning ball in her huge and oversized pants!!

Lucy follows Mr. Mooney into the bank vault and then closes the door for privacy, causing them to be locked in until the next morning.

Lucy accidentally locks Mr. Mooney in the bank vault and finds a ""can opener"" turned candy store owner to open the vault. Once he opens the vault, he goes back to his old ways and steals several bags full of money and locks Viv and Lucy in his candy shop.

Enamored with her handsome, wealthy blind date, Lucy agrees to go duck hunting. After frightening all the ducks away, Lucy creates her own duck call, luring swarms of ducks.

When Lucy finds a note in Mr. Mooney's office that reads ""ten thousand dollars buried in back yard,"" she and Viv spend the night digging up Mr. Mooney's backyard.

Lucy tries to wangle money out of Mr. Mooney to redecorate, but can only manage enough to do a few things herself. Things are going good until she decides to use fabric paint on her sofa and the sprayer malfunctions.

When Mr. Mooney and the town finance commitee refuse to fund the incompetent Danfield women's volunteer fire department, Lucy sets off a smoke bomb in the bank so the volunteers can rush in and pretend to save the day.

Lucy tries to sneak into a Military Academy disguised as a cadet to visit her son, Jerry, before visitor's day.

Lucy goes to her college reunion. While she's there, she helps Chris and some of her friends steal the bell tower statue. She and Viv end up having to put it back or suffer the consiquences. They get locked on the top of the tower, until the dean discovers them.

Sherman leaves the water in the bathtub running and it runs over, making the plaster in the ceiling below collapse. Mr. Mooney convinces Lucy that it's Viv's fault and they threaten to throw Viv out if she doesn't pay for the damages. They take out their lease and in it, it says that the rent will be considered down payment for the house, after five years, if the tenant desires. Viv has Mr. Mooney and Lucy thinking that she will and they end up trying to steal it from her, while she's sleeping.

Viv's cousin comes to New York to play percussion in Manhattan. When he arrives at the house, he's a nervous wreck and Lucy tries to relax him by telling jokes, but gets the hicups from laughing. Lucy tries to cure him by hypnotizing him, but she puts him in a heavy sleep and he won't wake up. Lucy ends up playing in the symphony in his place and makes the conductor mad and she takes his place.

Lucy needs Mr. Mooney to give her some money to buy Chris a dress for a dance, but Mr. Mooney is in the hospital with a broken leg. Lucy is a hospital helper and on the next day she has work, she tries to get Mr. Mooney to sign the check. She gets kicked off the floor Mr. Mooney is staying on and dresses as a doctor to get into his room.

When both Lucy and Viv enroll in an art class to win the affections of handsome John Brooks III, Vivian tricks Lucy into posing for the class so she can get a date with Brooks.

Chris decides to go steady with a boy who turns out to be Mr. Mooney's son. Lucy and Mr. Mooney don't like it and team up to show the kids a lesson by teaching them the real responsiblities of a serious relationship. And then the two adults must camp out in a treehouse to make sure the two don't elope.

Lucy takes up golf to keep a man interested in her.

When Lucy happens upon Ethel Merman at the bank, then Ethel and Mr. Mooney must make up a fake name and tell Lucy that she only looks like Ethel Merman. Soon after, Lucy is in need of money, as usual, and decides to let this Ethel Merman look alike rent a room. Soon after Lucy is giving her lessons how to perform and sing like Ethel Merman.

When Lucy discovers that Ethel Merman and Mr. Mooney made up a story to hid the singer's real identity, she can't help but come up with the nerve to as Ethel to perform at her son's boy scout pageant. Ethel accepts and she does the show, along with Lucy and Mr. Mooney.

Lucy and Viv buy a restaurant and every theme they make it, flops.

Mr. Mooney hires Lucy to give a new toaster to anyone who opens a savings account. Lucy tries to drum up business by getting her friends to close out their savings accounts and then redeposit the money as new accounts, leading to a rumor that the bank is failing!

Lucy and Viv have a fight and Viv decides to move out. Mr. Mooney makes Lucy get a new tenant and Viv wants to move back in.

A dog in the neighborhood barks all night and Lucy decides to sue the owner, Mr. Mooney!

When Italian millionaire Umberto Fabriani asks Lucy on a date, Lucy spills spaghetti sauce all over Mr. Fabriani's best suit, compelling her and Mr. Mooney to break into the cleaners.

Lucy and Viv want to get into Mr. Mooney's political campaign. Mr. Mooney tells Lucy to make an important call, but Lucy forgets.

Lucy and Viv have to replace a man on the scout trip and Lucy gets lost in the woods.

Lucy takes a job as a secretary at a law firm and is horrible at it so they demote her to process serving. So she has to serve a subpoena to Mr. Mooney!

When Vivian makes some comments about Lucy's baking ability, Lucy enters a baking contest to prove her otherwise. Lucy then swaps hers and Vivian's entries in the contest, which leads to a food fight!

Wanting to spend more time with her daughter, Lucy & Chris go roller skating. But when Lucy gets home, she can't get the skates off because her feet had swollen, and she has to wear them to a dance that night.

Mr. Mooney approves of Lucy hiring a plumber to fix her kitchen, and the one who shows up looks exactly like Jack Benny (and his assistant bears resemblance to Bob Hope).

Lucy is participated in Winter Sports in Skiing, Ice Hockey, Curling & Ice Skating. Vivian coached her to do it when a true athlete to please help out in the forthcoming Olympics. She can win a decathlon for the bank.

Lucy got a hit on the head and can't remember everything. Viv escorts her to the doctor for help out the symptom. After all the forgetfulness... Lucy's Memory is Restored.

Lucy & Mr. Mooney believes in the Bank Robbery by Crooks to ""Stick 'em UP!"" Lucy will attacks the crooks before they steal the assets of the bank and that makes a heroine.

When Lucy's new job as a meter maid goes to her head, she accuses Viv of many violations and takes her to traffic court.

When Jerry finds a penny worth fifty cents, Lucy & Viv withdraw 2,000 pennies from the bank, and search through them until they find one worth $16.50. When Lucy drops the penny down a storm drain, they disguise themselves as workmen, and climb their way through the sewer system searching for it.

While trying to sell Mr. Mooney a vacuum cleaner, Lucy accidentally vacuums up a stamp Mr. Mooney had just bought for $3,000. When the stamp winds up on an envelope sent through the mail, Lucy breaks into the post office to get it back.

When Lucy and Viv break the ceramic cat Mr. Mooney plans to give his wife as a surprise birthday present, Lucy winds up pretending to be a mechanical man in a department store window to steal another ceramic cat.

Lucy & Viv are able to talk Arthur Godfrey to appear in a local musical they and their community actors are putting on. Lucy plays Lucy Bell, Mr. Mooney plays the millionaire, and Vivian plays Steamboat Bessie.

When Lucy and Vivian try to get the town's wealthiest doctor to become a depositor in Mr. Mooney's bank, the doctor, mistaking the girls for volunteers for an experiment in hypnosis, regressing them to the age of five.

Lucy wins a contest to be disc jockey for a day, and proceeds to wreak typical, Lucy-style havoc in the radio studio.

Lucy and her son Jerry arrive in LA (her daughter has gone to bording school, and Vivian has gotten married, it is explained), where, coincidentally, Mr. Mooney has also relocated to. Lucy coerces Mr. Mooney into taking her and Jerry to Marine Land, where Lucy ultimately ends up in the pool with the dolphins.

Lucy babysits a neighbor's horse.

Mr. Mooney instructs Lucy to deliver some documents to Danny Thomas, and through a series of misunderstandings, she ends up performing in his musical act.

Lucy Carmichael's 1st Christmas in California. Part 1 has Lucy expressing determination not to spend too much on presents & Christmas tree in a typical tete a tete with a dubious Mr. Mooney. She succeeds in mixing up all of Mr. Mooney's gift tags for his wrapped Christmas presents. Part 2 takes place as Lucy shops for a Christmas tree withe the scene ending with Lucy knocking lots of the inventory over with her new large tree. Part 3 has her recruit Mr. Mooney to sing bass with the children's choir at a charity event at the bank.

Lucy sets out to track down her boss, Mr. Mooney, who is enjoying a secret vacation at a dude ranch. Lucy's mission is to obtain Mr. Mooney's signature on some important documents. However, she mistakenly finds herself on an Indian reservation, where she bears a striking resemblance to the rain goddess depicted on the tribe's totem pole.

As a contestant on Art Linkletter's television show, Lucy is challenged to remain silent for 24 hours, with the promise of a $200 reward if she succeeds. However, Linkletter sends another audience member named Ruth, who is actually a plant from the show, to get her to break her silence.

Lucy takes on a part-time job at a department store to earn money for a dinette set she intends to purchase. However, her day at the store becomes a series of comedic misadventures.

Mickey Rooney comes to the bank to secure a loan to purchase an acting school, and finds himself inadvertently enrolling his loan officers, Mr. Mooney and Lucy, as his students. As the three of them embark on their acting adventure, the episode pays homage to silent movie comedies.

Lucy takes matters into her own hands when her favorite actor friend faces being written out of the beloved soap opera, Camden Cove. Determined to help her friend, Lucy employs various disguises and strategies to influence the outcome of a pivotal trial in the show.

Lucy, an avid movie fan, seizes an opportunity to attend a major Hollywood movie premiere by posing as a theater usher. Her love for films and celebrities leads her to create chaos as the stars arrive on the red carpet. Her overzealous behavior captures the attention of the crowd and draws the ire of some of the stars... and a gorilla.

Lucy is set up on a date with Dean Martin's stunt double. When the double can't make it, Dean himself substitutes on the date. During the date Lucy keeps telling him how bad it is that Dean Martin is stealing all of his glory.

Bob Crane visits the bank where Lucy works to open an account. However, their encounter takes an unexpected turn when Lucy ends up securing a dinner date with him. Coincidentally, the bank has invested in Bob's upcoming World War I film, and Lucy's boss, Mr. Mooney, happens to know the director. Mr. Mooney, for his own amusement and to irritate Lucy, guarantees that Iron Man Carmichael, a stuntman, will perform stunts for the movie.

Lucy finds herself assisting an inventor friend in obtaining funding for his projects. To achieve this, she comes up with a plan involving Mr. Mooney, her boss. Mr. Mooney agrees to provide financial support if Lucy and her friend can help him deal with his troublesome 13-year-old nephew.

Lucy takes it upon herself to surprise her boyfriend, Frank, by knitting him a sweater. Secretly taking his measurements, she stays up all night diligently crafting a red sweater for him. However, her efforts result in an oversized creation that could easily cover a car. To make matters worse, Lucy discovers that Frank despises the color red.

Federal agent Stack discovers that Lucy is a dead ringer for gangster Gordon's moll and gets her to go undercover in order to recover missing bank robbery loot. This episode was a spoof of the classic crime drama The Untouchables which was produced and filmed at Desilu Studios.

When a heavy computer accidentally falls on Mr. Mooney's foot, with a burst of adrenaline Lucy finds herself able to lift the massive machine on her own, exhibiting superhuman strength. Surprisingly, her adrenal gland remains "on," leaving her with an ongoing power that grants her incredible abilities. However, Lucy's newfound strength comes with a downside. Her superhuman power proves to be uncontrollable, causing unintentional destruction wherever she goes.

George Burns arrives at the bank to pick up his statement, but Mr. Mooney has problems locating it. While waiting for Lucy to return to work, Mooney and Burns chat, and Mr. Burns reveals that he's having trouble finding another girl to be in his act. Enter Lucy, who goes on to explain her rather unique filing system, impressing George so much that he asks her to be his new comedy partner. The two go on to do a hit show and are offered a gig in Las Vegas, but Lucy declines, saying that she could never leave Mr. Mooney behind.

When Lucy accidentally gets Mr. Mooney stationed on a submarine by talking too much, she sneaks onto the submarine dressed as a sailor to get him to sign some important contracts, but the submarine takes off before Lucy can exit.

Lucy finds a sale on beans that says ""The Best Beans You've Ever Eaten or Double Your Money Back"". Needing money for new furniture, Lucy & Mary Jane keep buying and returning more and more beans until they have collected $1,500.00! Little does Lucy know that Mr. Mooney is helping to sell them.

Ventriloquist Paul Winchell comes into the bank and opens an account with Lucy. When Mr. Mooney fails to find a celebrity for an upcoming benefit for the bank, Lucy suggests that Mr. Winchell appear. But a mishap causes Lucy to have to stand in as the ventriloquist's dummy on the night of the show.

Mr. Mooney has a $6,000 ring delivered, which is an anniversary present for his wife. Lucy wants the thrill of having such an expensive rock on her finger for a brief moment, and Mooney obliges, only to find that the ring won't come off. Lucy reveals that she ""has a condition"" that causes her fingers to swell when she becomes nervous, so she takes some relaxing pills that the doctor prescribed her. But the pills make her loopy and knock her out, so Mr. Mooney spends the remainder of the day dragging Lucy's body around and trying to get her to wake up long enough to get the ring off. He finally gets her conscious, only to end up with the ring lost in the drain.

Lucy writes a jingle for a dog food company and wins a trip to London, England (""in Europe""). But when she misses her flight, she's forced to take a commuting flight to New York -- in a seat next to Mr. Mooney, who's on his way to the Big Apple for a business meeting.

Lucy advertises for a roommate to help with the expenses, and after reading the correspondence, she finally decides on Carol Bradford (Carol Burnet), a frumpy off-kilter librarian. Carol soon starts taking over, reorganizing the apartment, laughing like a hyena, and generally driving Lucy nuts. Lucy and Mary Jane scheme to help Carol develop a social life (to keep her out of Lucy's hair), so they have a small party to introduce her to some boys. It isn't long before usually mild-mannered Carol begins drinking, singing, and being the life of the party.

Lucy fakes sick so she can get out of work and accompany Carol, who's going to entertain at a golf tournament in Palm Springs. When they arrive, the hotel staff realizes that there's two women rooming together, so Lucy finds herself having to partake in the show. Lucy later weasels her way into an encounter with a distinguished actor, Collin Grant (Dan Rowan), and gets herself invited to a dinner dance. It's a good excuse not to go back to work when she finds that Mr. Mooney is Mr. Grant's partner in the golf tournament...

When a letter arrives from the US Government, Lucy finds that she's mistakenly been drafted. Instead of ""Lucy,"" the letter is addressed to ""Lou C."" So she sets off to the draft office to correct the mistake, but due to stupid ""rules and regulations,"" Lucy finds that she has to become a marine until the paperwork gets straightened out... So she does what any woman would do -- she makes life miserable for her Sargent.

When Mr. Mooney sends Lucy to the movie studio to deliver some papers regarding the financing on John Wayne's new film, she ignores his warning not to bother Mr. Wayne and finds herself lunching with him. Nervous and excited, Lucy proceeds to talk his ear off and finally splatters him with ketchup. Mr. Wayne takes that as his exit cue, but Lucy soon tracks him to the set of his film, where she continuously screws up the production.

Lucy and Mary Jane spend their lunch hour shopping for furs (despite the fact they only have 27 cents between them) so they can take advantage of the store's free tea and sandwiches. As they're getting ready to leave, the duo run into Pat Collins, a hypnotist, who says she's appearing at The Royal Club. Later at the bank, Mr. Mooney confides to Lucy that he has insomnia and hasn't slept in days, so she offers to take him to see Pat to cure him of his sleep deprivation. But Mr. Mooney has his reservations about being hypnotized, so he drags Lucy on stage with him...

Lucy is overworked, between the work that she's neglected and having to sell tickets for a benefit for the bank. Mary Jane warns that Lucy will have a nervous breakdown if she's not careful, but Lucy initially blows off this comment -- but she later thinks she's been hallucinating when she enters Mr. Mooney's office and finds a monkey, who's part of the benefit show, sitting at Mooney's desk. Lucy thinks she's been seeing Mr. Mooney as a monkey, so it's off to the psychiatrist's office, who gives her this advice: ""Face your fear and it will disappear."" So on her next encounter with the simian, she treats him as if he's Mooney... which gets confusing as Mooney and the monkey simultaneously enter and exit the room...

Efficiency expert Oliver Kasten takes over Mr. Mooney's office and commandeers his secretary, Lucy Carmichael, who quickly patterns herself after Kasten, following his strict orders without question.

Lucy is preparing to go on vacation, but she has a change of heart when her substitute secretary turns out to be an attractive blonde who Mr. Mooney really likes. Lucy secretly doesn't go on vacation, and spies on them in various disguises.

Recently married Vivian leaves Danfield to visit Lucy and the two begin gossiping and making up for lost time. When Viv tells Lucy about a friend's son who's now sporting long-hair, a guitar and a clock earring, the duo decide to dress up as hippies and set off to Sunset Strip to find ""Itchy"" to rescue him from the underworld. Lucy and Viv quickly find themselves in The Hairy Ape, where they finally find Itchy entertaining – after they spend the evening having to dance with the hip crowd.

Wanting a break from the bank and to make some extra money, Lucy visits an employment agency and lands a job as a babysitter. Little does she know that the babies are actually chimps!

Lucy holds a protest against a freeway destroying a small town. The catch is that Mr. Mooney is helping to get the freeway.

Picking up where ""Main Street USA"" left off, Lucy, Mr. Mooney, and Mel Tinker stage a shootout at the bank for press coverage, to bring the freeway problem to the attention of the world.

Lucy is mistaken for a shoplifter called ""The Red Flash"" and taken to jail, but she thinks she's in jail because she littered a candy wrapper.

Mr. Mooney has a fight with his wife, so Lucy decides to have some flowers sent over for her. When Eddie, the florist, arrives with the arrangement, Mr. Mooney immediately recognizes him as a former boxer. Eddie wants $3,000 to open up his own florist shop, but Mr. Mooney denies him a loan – so Lucy arranges for Eddie to partake in a boxing match to earn the money.

Mr. Cheever warns Mr. Mooney that his job is in jeopardy unless he attracts new business to their branch of the bank. So when Lucy hears that a recording star, country hick Homer Higgins (Ernie Ford), is about to become a California resident, she sets off to the hotel to coax him into setting up an account with their bank. To impress Mr. Higgins and his family, Lucy and Mr. Mooney set up a hoe-down in the bank after it closes that evening...and Lucy decides to dress down to pose as Mrs. Mooney.

When Sheldon Leonard convinces Mr. Mooney to let him shoot a televison pilot at the bank, Lucy mistakingly thinks he is a gangster who plans to rob the bank, so she and Mary Jane sneak into the bank at night, disguised as scrubwomen, to stop them.

Needing some extra money, Lucy takes a part-time job as the secretary for Milton Berle. While Working for Mr. Berle, she suspects that he is having an affair and does the best she can to stop him in his tracks. (This synopsis is from the Front Row Features DVD.)

Lucy fakes sickness to go shopping at a one-day-only sale with Mary Jane. But when Lucy becomes the customer of the year and has her photo printed in the paper, Lucy must hide the paper from Mr. Mooney before he sees it.

Whe famous French movie star Jacques DuPre expresses interest in opening an account at Mr. Mooney's bank, Lucy is asked to visit his apartment and dictate a formal letter of agreement confirming the account. While visiting, she drinks a little too much champagne and makes a complete fool of herself. But Monsieur DuPre gets a kick out of it, and gets the account anyway.

Mr. Cheever's wisecracking nephew, Tommy (Frankie Avalon), comes to work at the bank, to discourage him from the position he really wants – a job in show business. Despite the fact that he's to get no special treatment, Mooney repeatedly sucks up to him. Lucy soon befriends the young Cheever, who impresses her with a song and dance. So Lucy sets out to break Tommy into show biz...

Lucy is in trouble when a new bank policy requires all of its employees be high school graduates, and she reveals she was unable to complete her final year. So now it's back to school for Lucy, who ends up helping another man earn his diploma as well.

Needing new accounts for the bank, Lucy visits Jack Benny to try and get him to keep his money at her bank. He agrees to do it if she can prove that her bank can build a vault safer than his. Lucy then has the bank build a burglar proof vault, and gives Mr. Benny a personal tour of it.

Lucy and Mr. Mooney are sent to pick up Mr. Heatherington, the wealthy bank president, from the airport, and the gentleman finds that Lucy strikes his fancy. So when Mr. Mooney neglects to find a lady for Mr. Heatherington to escort to that evening's banquet, Lucy is given the job. But to her dismay, she's forced to dress up as a little old lady. As it turn's out, little old Lucy strikes perverse Mr. Heatherington's fancy more than the younger Lucy...

When a poor trucker Chuck Willis(Robert Goulet) gets turned down by the bank for a loan, Lucy decides to help him out by entering him in a Robert Goulet lookalike contest. When he loses the contest, Lucy decides to take matters into her own hands.

Lucy and Carol (Carol Burnett) become flight-attendant trainees. Part 1 of two. Lucille Ball. Brennan: Rhodes Reason. Miss Cavanaugh: Kasey Rogers. Workman: Sid Gould.

Conclusion. Lucy and Carol (Carol Burnett) do a musical salute to aviation. Actors Richard Arlen and Buddy Rogers appear together for the first time since the 1927 film "Wings."

Lucy's old pal Viv Bunson comes out west to care for Lucy after she breaks her leg. They spend time looking back at when they lived together, until Viv breaks her leg while on her way to fix lunch, forcing Mr. Mooney to look after both of them.

Lucy visits a local pool hall and enters their billiards tournament. Her main competition is a woman named Laura Winthrop. Cigar-smoking Laura, however, looks suspiciously like a a pool hustling man named Ace.

Lucy & Viv's car breaks down, so they visit the nearest house for help, which happens to belong to Joan Crawford. All of Crawford's furniture is away being redone, which lead the women to suspect she is broke, so they ask Mr. Mooney to help get her back to work.

When Mr. Mooney is up for becoming president of the San Fransisco branch of the bank, Lucy tries to get him named Boss of the Year so he gets the position.
